Mury Mouse lived with his mother, dad, and
sister Meri. They had a warm, cozy nest in the basement of a big
office building.
Mury and Meri liked to chase each other
along the steam pipes. How they laughed when they frightened one of
the workers in the building. They didn't want to hurt anyone, just
surprise them.
One of Mury and Meri's best friends was
Furry.
His family lived in the second section of
the building.
Hide and seek was one of their favorite
games. Furry was always able to find people who were hiding.
