We only pressed a couple hundred of these disks, and
unfortunately we trusted an online company with that task. (The
original batch has a glitch in a couple of the tracks where they cut of
a second before they should.) You may also note that the graphic
matches the cover of Light, my catata. The picture was originally used
for that cantata, but I did not publish it for many years, and I had
the picture already in digital format. So, since the top portion of
this image fits nicely on a round CD, I used it.
This is a sampler of sorts, and so many of the tracks can be found as
part of other collections.
This CD is a collection of Christmas Music that I produced
with the praise team musicians from St. John Lutheran Church in
Shawnee, Oklahoma. It is a gift to you if you wish to download it here.
You may want to let others know where they can download it too. (Please, however, do not
repost it on the internet. It's not for
resale.)
Some of this collection is very traditional, some of it is what others
might call "out there" as in jazzy, rockin' or just plain medieval. I
worked directly with most of the tracks, so the dichotomy is to be
expected. I also repurposed, rerecorded, and remixed a few of these
tracks for My Mythtery Playing
collection.
The version of Greensleeves
that I play on this CD is one of my own
arrangements. Here is a video of me playing the main musical line on my
12 string guitar.
